The only thing I have ever run is there servos and I like them. I just went to there web site and looked up the receiver you are talking about. If it is all they say it is looks pretty good and like you said the cost it right. If you get one let us know how you like it. This is what they said on there web site. This is the first receiver I have seen that works with both positive and negative shift! Maybe there is more but I do not know about them.

What is IPD?
The abbreviation IPD stands for Intelligent Pulse Decoding, the intelligence being provided by a micro-processor in the IPD.

• Only valid signals get through. The IPD receiver only considers a signal valid if its strength lies within the range 890 usec to 2350 usec. These are limit values which cater for most RC-transmitters even those not made by Hitec.

• Incorrect signals are replaced (Hold Mode). If an invalid signal is picked up, the receiver rejects it passes on the last valid signals received. It continues to do this until a “good†signal is received, for a maximum of 0.5 seconds. This helps suppresses interference, or at least reduce its effect.

• “Safety setting†(FAIL-SAFE) in the case of total signal loss. If no valid signal is picked up, the receiver rejects it and passes on the last valid signal received. Fail-Safe settings) This provides a measure of safety. (e.g. throttle closed) should massive interference occur.

• IPD is compatible. You can use the Hitec IPD receiver with all positive and negative shift FM transmitters. This means you can benefit from the advantages of IPD even if you don’t use Hitec transmitter.

• Includes a battery status indicator light

I see you saying this all the time. [Awaiting Approval] are you just trying to build up your post number or what?
