Hansa Brandenburg CC (with MOVIE)
Hi,
today I maidened in water my Hansa Brandenburg CC, a ww1 fighter seaplane. The model weights 1,2 kg (with 300 g of lead to balance the ship), wingspan is 116 cm and power plant is Hacker A20 M outrunner brushless engine, 10x4.7 prop, 3s1p 2000 MAh lipoly.
The model is intended for ww1 semiscale aircombat game, so it's designed to be largely disposable; wing are simply made with folded sheets of depron, while hull is classic balsa construction; I plan to bild another pair of wings in traditional balsa structure for everyday flights, and keep the "spad" ones for combat only (traditiona wings needs too much work to use them in higly dangerous dogfight ). Maybe I put a 2.5cc (0.15 cu. inches) glow engine in new wings, so I will be able to swap in just seconds from glow to electric flying, just swapping wings and maybe adjusting CoG.[>:]
TONS OF PICS, included construction pics, are here:

To see the movie, click on button labelled "filmato 25 mb"
or simply right-click and save this:
