battery chargers
I am working on getting 7 cell batteries for my new emaxx (purchasing, or making) but i was wondering if a normal 6 cell quick charger will charge them the way they need to be charged.

No. You need one that has voltage output for that pack- get a pro peak charger with configuration to allow cell type, cell number, battery capacity and charge rate.
Make sure you don't use too cell count (voltage) does it say 7 cell pack is OK? I know you can use 4.8v or 6v for standard receivers and servos, dunno about that kit.
