Glad to hear you got your new engine. How does it compare to the TRX?

I can hear when it shifts to second... beware that it may be shifting early, which you may not hear. With the RB, the engine is so powerful... that it will still accelerate at a high-rate of speed when in second gear.

I have just finished running in my new RB .23 and it stripped my output gears... i have a robinson racing forward and reverse gears any they are holding up well but the final gear in the drivetrain has stripped right down already.

is there a metal version available? cos i cant see one anywhere

and yes, my new RB .23 is loud... very loud, so if anybody has a fix that does not cut the power down then that would be great!

thanks in advance, Alex

Thanks. compared to the trx its like comparing a corvette to a cavalier. And I learned a new word that everyone should learn with this engine THROTTLE CONTROL!

So I should start with the shift point like a quarter turn from all the way closed

I think it's page 43 in the manual or go the traxxas web site and look in trouble shooting
