Default sky scooter question

i got my hitec sky scooter in and tried to fly it yesterday and have a problem. i ordered it with a 3:1 gearbox and apc 9x6 slowflyer prop from servo city. the problem i am having is that the prop is spinning on the gearbox shaft. the prop washer will not close down enough on the prop hub to hold it in place. am i doing something wrong here? this is my first electric so i am new to this style of setup. the plane flys for a few seconds until the prop comes loose and loses power. any help with this would be appreciated.

Default sky scooter question

have you got any fuel tubing? put some over the shaft just slighty more than the prop thickness, then put the prop on, and screw the nut down and the tubing will compress holding it firm... i guess... not seen the exact setup you have, but i guess it'll work.
i also didnt know they used slowfly props... i've only seen direct drive scooters with smaller higher pitch props .

Default sky scooter

this is the setup brian at servo city reccommended. i think what will probably have to happen is i'll have to put on a washer to basically give the hub a little more thickness, something for the washer to compress. who know. i have to wait until my new props get here from tower next week. i busted the only two i had on impact the other day. thanks for the input.
