3D Electric Heli
Does any one have any info on a 3D capable heli and where one would be available and cost.I live in a cold climate in the winter and it would be nice to be able to go fly without the hassle of fuel and all in cold weather. Sorry i forgot to put electric in there. Thank's Tim.

Tim, The Joker is about the hottest E-Heli around... You can see it at this site...
If you get over to the Indy area we could get together for some flying as I only fly e-stuff now and have a Joker...

Hi planelazy,
This is Glen, another vocal proponent of another fine heli, er two helis, the LOGO 10 and 20 If you don't want to go quite as big and expensive, the LOGO 10 makes a great winter heli. It can be flown in a very small space by an experienced pilot. the initial costs including flight packs and charger is less than a larger heli, and it IS 3-D capable. If you ever make it up here for some of the finest skiing in the world give me a call and I'll do my best to show you how it flies

I got mine, directly from Germany, for $1280 including shipping. The now have a US distributor, www.fxaeromodels.com.
The above price included the Actro motor and ESC.
By the time you're all done, you can figure it's going to cost you around $2K to get it flying.
