Hey I have a duestion about a 257 carb it seems like it is always running fat when you get on the throttle it will mist gas out of it pretty good it never has idled worth a crap maybe my motor is down on compression I have noticed gas in the line from the motor to the water pump is that right

I have adjusted the carb until you can tell it is lean on the low side it is not fat best I can figure needle is at about 1 and a 1/8 out and it still act like it is fat just wondering if there is anything inside that may be bad
