m.gramling the plane didn't come too good. throw it out and start over.
just kidding. looks good.
just finished my first knife my slef this winter. I went with the ply hatches and mounted all servos to the hatches. found that mod in here and tried it. i'm verry happy with that modification. I've had to open the hatches a few times and once they are off everything is out of the way. I have my tank on the outside. I've flown it about 7 or 8 times and i'm happy with the plane. it's alot of fun so far.
I have photos but they are too large to post in here.
EMAIL me if you would like a look at the hatches on the plane.
good luck

Well I have an idea for the bottom of plane, but I left it off for now. Once I get it on I will post pictures. I am in the process of working on it. I might end up doing some graffics on top as well.

Gator, you know this trick. For the wingtips, not being covered. Instead of installing motor, radio gear, pushrods, clevis', then balance plane for CG and laterally. Then have to remove everything. Then cover it, then reinstall everything.

I cut a hole in each outer wing tip, once I install all my stuff. then when balancing, if I have to add weight to a wing tip, I can install it inside the wing, then cover wingtips, and I will be thru. that way I don't have any weights sticking outside the plane.

I really don't have an imagination. I got the scheme from the plane I bought off of Jeff Williams at the brotherhood flyin. I crashed the planed. But doesn' it look similiar.

Default Knife Construction

It's snowing here in the Memphis TN area today on my day off. I finished my knife.
I have New TT46 w/ stock muffler (for now) once I get it broken in I will put a moosecan on it.
JR R600 receiver
700Mh battery.
Hitec 225BB-throttle
JR-531 rudder
JR537 on elevator, and alierons.

all up weight is less than 4.5lbs (great job Paul) on my not so accurate fruit scale. Once I get the motor broke in, and put the moosecan on it. the moosecan will take off a couple of ounce from the stock muffler.

I have put any graffics on top yet. But here is the bottom. Its much better than just plain white. the lettering is monokote.
