Default What's it worth? Giant Telemaster

I have a giant Telemaster (12 ft.) built but in bare bones. It was built, covered and flown years ago. The covering is mostly gone, but includes landing gear, pushrods and a full set of plans. My understanding is that plans are no longer available. Planning to sell and was wondering what I should ask.

Thanks, Martyman

I'd start at $200.00 but expect to get lower. Not a lot of call for giant trainers. Good camera platform, candy and bomb drop, though. With the right engine possibly a fair giant scale glider tug.

A used plane in bare bones condition probably would go for not much more than a $100 at an auction in this area.

It is back in production by a firm from Long Island NY. They had one at NEAT. Kit was about $350.00.

If the bones are good and the balsa is not rotted, I'd pay $200 to $250. But thats just me.

Just to update everyone, Hobby Lobby is now listing in their new catalog on page 100, the 12 FOOT Telemaster kit (HLA112) for $349.00.

Chad

Got the new catalog (#46) a couple days ago and I'm looking at the kit information and picture on page 100 right now. I also entered the number in the web site and got nothing...no idea why. I would sugest that you call them in the morning and place the order..

Bill
