Old maxx question.
Hey, this is my first post on a count of I just got back into nitro, I used to rock crawl a month ago, but traded my TLT for an older style Maxx.
I was wondering if I could lock the rear diff without conciquence to the wallot. (Axles, half-shafts....)
It's got a Megatech M-.16 with a big header and tuned pipe right now, with that setup I can beat a 2.5.
But... I want to be able to pull some wheelies and mudbog and hillclimb pretty good, but I don't know if I'll be back to racing.
So would JB Welding the rear be a big deal, or something good to do?

RE: Old maxx question.
the silly putty would make it pretty stiff, think how viscous it is, that's what does it, I'd try that before doing something perminant...
I also melted wax in the diff cup at one point, it was very solid but still had some play in it so I didn't blow shafts...
