Looking at the top of the piston is not really a very good way to tell engine wear. To get a good idea of engine wear you need to tear the engine completely down and examine the sleeve walls, the sides and edges of the piston and see how far the piston pushes up into the sleeve.

I have a different filter on there anyway i forgot it had it i got the huge one on there..also will the blue chrome aluminum filter fit on the savage? with the body on?
EDIT: The one for the T-maxx?
