Default Pica F4U Corsair

I'm currently building a PICA Corsair, 1/8 scale. The instructions call for 3" main wheels and a 2" tailwheel. Could this be a misprint on the tailwheel. Isn't a 2" tailwheel a bit large?

thanks

I bet it is a misprint...call Pica and ask - Jon is a good guy and will admit it if it is.

2" tailwheel.

Thats gotta be a misprint, I'd probally use a 3/4" wheel on a plane of that size.

I talked to Jon, one of the guys that designed it, and he said that actually the real full size plane had a huge tailwheel, so that's why they said use a 2" wheel, but, I could use whatever size I wanted to. So I'll probably go with a 3/4 to 1" wheel. Thanks for the replies.

Gary
