RE: Tommorrow is Carden 35% Extra Day..
Making progress on the fuse buildup, some of the foam parts have been sheeted. Expecting huge progress this week/weekend..
Question regarding aileron servo setup - still planning on using 1" airwild arms, jr 8611s, 3 or 3.5" titanium rods, etc. Would appreciate thoughts/advice on measurements along the aileron to the control horn locations - how far from root, and how far from the tip are you setting up the linkages?

Fuse has been completely framed up, couldn't resist putting the wing cores on to check it out.
Aileron servo layouts have been completed - next step is to cut the foam and sheet the wings....

Hi Phil -
I ended up with control point locations on the aileron 10" in from the tip and 30" in measured from the tip. This was an easy way to divide up a 40" aileron. Output shaft locations for the servos are 1" towards the root from each of these locations, allowing for a total linkage length of 4" (will end up using 2.5" H9 control rods). I think this will give me a pretty good setup.
Regards,
Bob
