Default ReadyHeli.com is awesome - just got my new SE!

My new T-Rex Se just arrived from John and Chris at ReadyHeli.com today. It was completely assembled for $49!!! I guess they are now charging $79 for the service, but here is what they did:

--- assembled heli
--- installed all electronics (very clean job BTW)
--- flight test
--- Align ESC heatshrink modified for cooling fins
--- swashlplate jb-welded
--- re-Loctiting all screws
--- re-assembly of entire rotor head, and tail assembly
--- new tail screws
--- Align 430L Motor Can inspected and jb-welded
--- blade balancing (tail/main)
--- canopy cut out and glued

I can't say enough good things about these guys. They really care! BTW, I am not affiliated with them! Shipping was perfect, and timely. Communication happened throughout the entire process. They are available for phone and IM support whenever. Plus they throw in some candy with the shipment to show their appreciation...

Best,
Kris

Thermal epoxy would be better than JBWeld for attaching the heatsink, but i'm glad to hear you had such a good experience .

I had the EXACT same experience with Chris and John at Readyheli.com. These guys are a class act and build a great T Rex. I have had mine for 1 week and it is my very 1st heli. With their setup I can fly it after 1 week with ease and comfort (but Im already a good RC pilot,, just new to helis). I took it out to a little heli fly in today and surprised some folks when I was hovering it in a 15 mph wind and said lets go for it, dropped the nose and hauled butt. Made a nice clean couple of 100 yard circuits and brought it in overhead and nestled it back on the ground right in front of me as big as you please. Yes Im bragging,,, I was PUMPED that I could do it! I was alos stunned when one of the guys cranked up his Fury 90 and handed me the TX! I tried to fly it up but it was really windy and the heli was REALLY touchy,,, I got it a few inches off the ground and erred on the side of conservative when I felt the wind really moving it around a lot, out of respect for his generosity I handed it back before I took a chance with his $2000 heli. None the less I was honored. I cant wait to graduate to a big ol 3D bird like that...

like mentioned....setup is KEY to the T-REX....but when accomplished correctly the end result is worth every penny....

P.S. have you seen Chris's Rappy 50 in action yet??...he has magic hands i tell ya!!....one vid made of the maiden flight shows an unplanned autorotation out of an extremely low maneuver....really worth a look!!...
