Default What's the Minimum Tx Voltage for Efficient & Reliable Operation?

I currently use a Hi Tech Laser 6 Tx and I usually seem to experience some jumpiness when it gets down to around 50% voltage. Once it reaches between 40%-50%, I recharge it. Is there a known minimal voltage level to not drop below to maintain reliable control? I don't even know why they bother listing anything below 50% if it's not going to give you perfect control.
