the o.s. .18tm is just the right amount of power for a truck if the guy wants ondemand wheelies and great power w/ speed. You souldnt be burning through clutches though like that. Just for the hell of it...heck how tight your slipper clutch is.
Get back to me on that

yeah, to me it sounds like something is wrong and causing these problems. i've been running the same clutch shoes(stock) for about 1.5gallons with my fantom fr .18 and no signs of wear. also this was the same clutch that was on the truck when i got it used with a almost dead trx2.5. is there anything on your truck causing extra strain like large heavy tires, or is your break sticking in any way? my truck will roll freely until i hit the breaks and roll freely again as soon as i let up. will yours do this without having to hit the throtle to free up the breaks?

After running 2 gallons through the 2.5 and now 2 gallons through the os tm I am still using the factor clutch. No signs of wear. so you must be doing something wrong.

yeah my truck is stock. It rolls free with no brake drag and my slipper is set tight. The thing is it has burned theese clutches up just running it around the parking lot. My friend has the same moter and integy clutch in his maxx and has had the same problem as me.

well the first think i would do is loosen up your slipper clutch to 1/4 turn from being tight.....if that doesn't fix your problem i know where you can get a rb for cheap.

is the clutch engaged even at idle?? That may cause premature wear. If it is lower the idle to juet before it will cut out.
Good Luck

You could try a 1/8th clutch set up like this
