mini servos versus 1 standard
Would two mini servos with 25 oz. torq. work for a split elevator. If i went with the single standard it would only be 45-50 oz. any way. this is for a 30 size yellow aircraft cap 232.

You cant just think of the torque rating in the decision of a servo... The vibration of the surface would Destroy a mini servo in a 60+ size plane.
But for a 30 size Cap, I think you will be plenty fine.. Good Luck

frind of mine has an HS 225 on each half of the elevator on a Funky 60 Giles 300. No problems there. He also but HS 81s on a WM 40 Cap 232. They stripped, and then he went to metal gears and they were fine.
