Engines for a bashed twin
I have a bashed Sig Kadet type twin. I got it in a trade and I'm looking for engine suggestions. I have a pair of 40's but was wondering if maybe two 60's ( or even K&B 65's) would be better. Your suggestions please. Thanks.

RC:
The 65 engines would work, but the 40s are better for two basic reasonsw. One, they are plenty of power for the largest Kadet, and Two, you already have them.
Bill.

Being as the Kadet is a .40 plane might be a good idea to stick
with using the .40's you have.. Put on .60's, plane really won't
fly that much faster but will use a lot more fuel..

RE: Engines for a bashed twin
I have an old kit built Sr kadet for many years. An old Magnum .40 2 cycle flies the heck out of it. So a pair of 40s is plenty. A pair of 60s might cause structural problems?
