Default Moki 1.8 help

Hello all, I have a moki 1.8 that was bought used here on rcuniverse, I set up the engine with a bisson pitts, large fuel tubing and a perry pump. the engine runs great, idles great and starts very easy, But it won't turn over 7000 with a bolly 18x8 prop?? I'm using 10% sig fuel and have tried a couple differant plugs, os type f, os 8, fox miracle, I have also tried differant pump settings and high speed needle settings?? what's the deal, Please HELP

ENGINE RATED HP (USA) RATED HP (JUST ENGINES)
Moki .61 2.2hp 2.1hp
Moki 1.35 3.45hp @ 9800 3.3hp (APC 16x8 @ 9300-9500rpm)
Moki 1.50 3.85hp @ 9500 3.7hp (W2 18x8 @ 7900)
Moki 1.80 4.1hp @ 9200 4hp (Master 18x10 @ 8300)
Moki 1.80B to follow asap
Moki 2.10 4.95hp @ 8800 4.5hp (Smart 20x10 @ 8000)

It seems you should be getting around 8500 rpm with that prop. Did you buy the engine new or used? If used, then how is the compression? Hope someone didn't sell you a worn out one!

I thought it was best to use no more than 5% nitro with a Moki.

OK Ok, I have tore the engine down, ring seems fine, backs up the good compression, the bearing has quite a bit of rust on it?? but it still spins ok?? could this be the probelm?? how do you remove the crankshaft out of the front block??? to change the bearings?

http://www.justengines.unseen.org/moki_parts.htm (exploded view of engine).

E-mail this guy and ask him. He works on Moki's all the time.
