Default piston sleeve

i am tryin to rebuild an ns 25 but i cant get the piston sleeve out. i never did this before and the instructions in the manual dont say much. how do i get the damn thing out???

Turn the flywheel. It should push it out far enough to grab it as it hits the pinch at TDC. If not the ya may have to push it out from inside the case.

Stick a zip tie through the sleeve ports above the piston the turn the flywheel over. It "should" push the sleeve up. It only has to be up enough to grab it with a pair of pliers. If you're reusing the sleeve then be careful and wrap the sleeve or any metal tool you use so that you don't harm anything that you need to reuse.

the zip tie method worked enough to get the sleeve up a little...but no where near enoguh to grip it with a pare of pliars. and the sleeve is shot so i can scratch it and it wont matter. i need a new one anyway.

I've managed to get the sleeve out but the piston is another story, i cant get the conrod off the crankshaft. Is the only way to do this is to remove the spring off the piston through the exhaust?

Make sure crank is rotated to bottom dead center and if you have the
sleeve completely out of crankcase then rod should come off of crank.
