Bump Starters and Starter Boxes
Can either be used with a pull starter, so that the pull starter is the backup and vice versa?
Also, are they effective with big block engines (.28, .30). ?
Also, do you have any opinions on bump versus starter box?
I'd like to start my Inferno and a new touring car without the pull start (inconvenience of pulling and replacing body would be avoided)
Anything else I should know? I have a good charger and good 7.2 packs around, too....

In most cases you can use a starter box instead of the pullstart. As long there is clearance in the chassis for it. A "bump start " and starter box are the same thing.

pull starts are a pain. The starter box has never failed me. One little bump and you are on your way. I have one with a 12 volt and one that just hooks up to my car battery. The pair of stick pack don't last too long'

An engine with a pull start will have no affect on whether or not you may use a starter box. As long as the donut on the starter can make contact with the flywheel and it is turned in the PROPER direction, it will work.
