T-500 problem yesterday
So yesterday we were taxi testing a new plane with my T-500.
I went up and down the runway about 3 times.
When I turned at the end of the runway, I let it sit and idle for about a minute then I throttled up to return to the pits.
It accelerated to about 50% then suddenly started losing rpm's, started rumbling then became a flame thrower.
I shut it down immediatley but still burned a 3 ft. hole in our petromat runway. It also scorched the metal protection the tail of the plane and smoked the wood.
When I got it to the pits I let it cool and I restarted. It ran fine but on shutdown it would not go into cooling mode.
Any ideas what happened?

Ronnie, did you reprogram the xmtr after the tune up? And also, I had one act up and after cussing the engine a bit I figured out the receiver battery was bad and when I moved the nose wheel to taxi the voltage was dropping on the receiver pack. Just my 2 cents. Bob

RE: T-500 problem yesterday
Shok, I have had the same problem and also caused a lot of damage to my plane. After sending the turbine back, they told me it was the injectors that was the problem.Got it back and it did it again.Found poor connection at fuel pump causing the problem.Never had problem again after resoldering connections.Might try and check this.
