dude you better get a vented CB, & aluminum clutch shoes too.
I have it in my savage x and it smokes!! its awesome but it pops the front too much, i cant race, i have to be so carefull with the trigger! also you are going to need heavy duty dog bones, cups, 4 spder gears, aluminum diff cases, etc. but other than that its an awesome motor. if you run 20% nitro remove the cooper shim on the cooling head, if 30%nitro just leave it the way it is.
good luck and have fun!
I love the new savage x engine cage!

what size cb/sg combo you using?
You should tone it down with top end gearing like 47/19 or 47/20 (if it fits)
My friend has the Picco .27 with 47/20 gearing and it still flips the truck over even with the HPI wheelie bars installed. TOO MUCH Torque!!

You won't need the HD stuff right away unless you have the old 2 speed. I wouldn't even bother using the stock carbon shoes, get some NOVA or Mugen shoes and mugen 1.0mm springs and you'll be set. The stock shoes will slip, heat the clutchbell to 300+F and melt your spur gear, trust me dude it will happen. Spend the 25 bucks on the 3 shoe/spring combo and you won't regret it.

I just finished running mines in, in my LE. I'm running 25% tornado and It does wheelie alot. Dont bother replacing anything untill it breaks, but do keep an eye on the above mentioned items for wear. Could be a waste of money upgrading everything if nothing actually breaks.

Awesome engines for the moeny though. I'm well happy with mines, was a dream to run in and tune and its super fast.
