Tuning the Savage is simple. Just turn the high speed needle in a little (or out a little) at a time until it runs as good as physically possible. You might have to slightly tweak the low speed needle, but do that AFTER you have adjusted the high speed needle. Lastly, adjust the idle speed screw to get the idle where it needs to be. Best advice I can give you is to NOT tune it until the engine is up to temp or at least warmed up. Also, do NOT tune it on a tank that is half empty or below.....tune it on a full tank to half a tank at the lowest fuel level.
