Default ROTO STARTER

Hello to all i`m new here and recently i bought a savage x but at the begining i had some problem with roto starter.Can i start my savage with something else except roto starter.Thank you

I have the same problem as everyone else. Looking to get a pullstarter ordered tomarrow.

i opt to use a cordless drill. the original roto rod will fit right in just make sure that you are in reverse with the drill

just make sure that you are in reverse with the drill
it wont actually damage anything if its not in reverse, it just doesnt turn the engine. But oviously it has to be in the right direction.

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF your using a drill to start your nitro engine....BE SURE YOU CLUTCH IT ALL THE WAY DOWN!
If you do not ,and you encounter a flooded engine,then try to start it with a drill...you can VERY EASILY bust/twist the crank,and cause other internal damage.
If you clutch it down...its probably better for your truck anyways.

here at chihuahua we have tree savages with the same problem, some of us also use a thrill
