Default YS120NC

I have a YS120NC. I broke the needle valve and spray bar assembly. YS discontinued that part and replaced it using the parts from a newer model. I bought one from Central Hobbies (for a small fortune) and of course it didn't work. It was completely different. I finally found the right part after checking out that other auction site. He had one and I bought it. Engine runs great again. The question is two fold. Why would YS replace a part with one that doesn't work and if I need another one where do I find it.

Obviously you were sold the wrong replacement part. It's also possible that the part you received was not properly labeled. Next time, check with YS Service on what the correct part should be.
