hmmm Batterypack?
Hey guys im pretty much a newbie to these things and i have a question.
i just brought this radio pack

Now ive installed it and its running great but the thing is draining the dam batteries! can i get a batterypack for the acctuall controller or reciever? im sick of having to buy 12 new batteries everytime i run lol

Doesn't look like tower sells one. Does the design of the battery compartment lend itself to sticking a pack in? Is there a connector there for one?
Is there a reason why you want a pack instead of using loose Nimh cells? The packs are generally nicad, and are therefore lower capacity. They are more expensive as well. You could likely get two sets of loose cells for the price of one pack.

I run rechargeable AA in my TX and a battery pack for my receiver. A good battery pack for the receiver is much better then AA batteries of any kind. Makes your servos much faster and have more torque.

What vehicle is this. It's more a matter of what battery configuration will fit best.
