warhead spur gears
i was wondering if anyone found where to get the steel spur gears for the warhead
i keep chewing up the 49t gear thats made of plastic

guys did u try when setting ur spur gear thighten it first and turn 1/8-1/4 counterclockwise? and there should not have a grinding sound when u run it,,i don't have problem so far with it....

I did exactly that, plus I used a piece of paper and ran it through the gears and the paper had no cuts, i still have chewed it up.I tried to return my WH with no luck, but was told if Duratrax would send me the parts that the place I bought it from would replace and repair it for me......I got to break it in and thats all, I want to run this thing so bad.....

allright guys check out this website and try some of these gears "stock drive products" i found some gears that are close
in tolerance...here are the specs....face-.250"...bore-.470"...pitch diameter-1.9"...overall diameter-2.00"
here are the same measurements in millimeters....face-6.35mm...bore-12.00mm...pitch diameter-48mm...overall dia.-50.7mm
