Default 3-d with a 28% Extra Special 300 ?

Hey everyone. I've had my 28% Extra Special 300 for a few months now. It was my first gasser, and I'm still wondering why I waited so long to go gas!!!!Awesome plane!! I couldn't be more happier with the way it flys.
I've mainly been practicing IMAC and just "lazy sunday afternoon" sport flying with her so far.The plane has had a pretty easy life. LOL....

I have been recently trying to find some find some video's of someone 3-d'ing with one. But the only video I can find is the one on Tom's site. Is there anyone out there that can help point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Shaun Russell

Thanks srm99. That is the only video that I have been able to find .I believe that's the video from Tom's(Wild Hare) site. I know somewhere out there, There is a video or two of this plane throwing it down with 3-d. Or at least I thought there would be?[]
Anyone?

I had one but sorry no video. It will do all the 3D you want. Harriers with this plane were really easy. The fact Tom designed it around the use of a larger engine if you had one gave it some extra wing area. This combined with say a DA 50 or other lightweight 50cc on a lightweight setup made it a real dream to fly. I bet the new one will be even better.

Yes, there ia a new and improved Extra 300, similar to an Extra 260 but a two place cockpit.

The new one is wider, longer, has bigger ailerons, lighter, larger cowl with more room, redesigned tail designed to eliminate aerodynamic causes of wing rock, and it should generally be a higher performance airplane.

They will be here in a few weeks.

But I just did two searches to find some info and couldn't find any?? Could someone please give me a link to the thread, or a keyword that I can use to do a search for the thread. Dang computers.. Can't we just go back to pencil and paper?

Thanks in advance

As far as the original Extra Special is concerned, I've had one since they came out. I fly it with a stock G62 and it is capable of virtually all 3D moves. Its not a real floater with that engine so the transition from normal to high alpha flight takes a bit of care until you get used to it. I found if you enter a harrier with a little parachute its easy and consistent. TRs are wonderful. My favorite is the KE elevator. This plane is very impressive to all who see it fly.
