Default ****HIGH REV****

Whyw ould a car rev VERY high without pressing the throttle with the remote on or off?
Also why would the steering on the car work but the throttle dosent?

Need more info, like what model are you referring to? They can be a number of problems, and with more info it will make it easier for members to help.

High rev's at idle could be a bad tune, if you are lean on the lsn or the idle screw is too far out. As for the throttle, could be a failsafe if you have one, bad servo, or bad connection to receiver.
