Homemade muffler for Moki 2.10 ?
I'm putting one on the AW profile Extra but havent bought a muffler yet.
Is there possibly something I can make myself that is as high performance and equal weight to the Bisson standard and pitts mufflers ? Who makes headers for the 1.80 and 2.10 ?
Thanks for any info yall might have.

I've made mufflers for a couple of gassers and they work great.
Here's the info i used for a starting point:

I think their sizes are a bit large, but, you can order a box about any size you want. My last ones have been sized the same as the Bennett muffler on my G 62, and they work great.

I am currently designing/building a Macchi 202 with a MOKI 2.10 and am in the process of building the muffler/header combo. I noticed that your posting is a bit dated - what did you do for a muffler? (homemade or commercial?)
For the last three airplanes I have built, I have also built my own mufflers out of sheet metal, copper pipe and a cheap brazing torch from the local hardware store. Not only do they work well, but the whole muffler unit is out of sight even with the tightest cowl.
