Default 3.3 won't start. HELP!

I have a revo 3.3 with about 2 and a half gallons and has been running great. But the the other day my stock radio craped out and the car went out of control, hit a fence and flipped on its lid with the engine screaming away. So i went over and shut off the the engine. After that i ordered a new futaba digital radio and put it in. So i set it up and went to start it and the glow plug light was off so i switched glow plugs, primed the engine and turn the engine over until the battery went dead and it still wouldn't start. What is wrong? This never happened befoe. Any suggestions will help.

Neil

can you turn the flywheel over by hand or is it locked up, if your engine was screaming at WOT then you might of broke the conecting rod in your engine but i really think you have an air leak, if the flywheel is unturnable then you got a problem but if you can turn it your saved, i did that before and it started right up for me, maybe somebody else 0on this form can explain what im trying to say a little bit better. maybe Kliff can help you out, he has 14 rc's!!!!

Clean the area around the glow plug, take out the GP and turn the engine over. Does the piston move up and down? If so then with the plug still out turn the enginge over by hand using the flywheel. Does the piston / sleeve still have a slight to moderate pinch?
Place plug back in and try to turn over uing fly wheel. If it is easy to turn over the engine has little to no compression and will never run worth a __________.

Check the ground wire that connects to the engine mount. A gear sheared mine in half and it took me a while to figure out why it wouldn't start.

primed the engine and turn the engine over until the battery went dead and it still wouldn't start

Seems to me if the ground wire, was the problem the motor would not be turning over.

Hey Kliff, how come in every post you sound like you are such a cocky know it all with no real knowledge of rc. Maybe back in the 70's you raced golden arrows in your back yard. Take a chill pill!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know....how come you come in here with 2 whole posts to your name, wanting to pull my chain? Already a member, and afraid to let anyone see who you are? So you sign up with another name to make you feel like you got some cajones?
I don't now it all, never professed to..that's why I don't do the "could've, would';ve, should've" posts....and that's why, when I don't own something someone thinks I can lend a hand with, I TELL them I DON'T, and I'm not able to help.

So what pot are you trying to stir?

That's about what I would do at this point. Check the basics. Also check for any cracks in the head or case of the engine. Sounds far fetched, but air can get out of anywhere whether it be a hole or a crack.

Cool.......must be a fact, cause it sure seems as tho I answer 99 questions for every one I ask.......how 'bout you, you have an overwhelming amount of knowledge you're gonna share? Or just stir the pot with offensive posts yourself, and contribute nothing useful, and expect answers to your questions.....hmmmmmmm?

You know, if you don't like my posting, there is a little icon at the bottom of everyone's posts......you can click on it, and never have to veiw any of my posts again.....pretty simple really......amazed you couldn't figure it out......

Kliff has helped me out countless times and if it weren't for people like him on these forums noobz like me would be lost. I appreciate all the help he and others have taken the time to give me. Instead of jelous rivalries why don't we all just try to help each other enjoy this hobby and share in a common interest. Instead of posting derogatory remarks about other people why don't you just PM that person to voice your opinion.
