Hello Everyone,


I need to make some foam inserts for my 4" robart tires... any one done this before successfully ?
Have any suggestions ????

Foam insulation rod, available at you local home improvement store.

Foam insulation rod... I have not seen that before? Can you explain a bit what that is?

It's pieces of foam rod, used for insulating gaps.

Home Depot sells it. Called "Caulk Saver" because you fill the crack almost all the way with it before finishing off with caulk. At my Depot it comes in 3/8" and 1/2" diameters. Stuff as much of it into the tire as you can and still be able to put the tire back on the rim--end result is a nice firm tire that doesn't get flat spots.

Thanks for the quick and awsome response... I will be heading down to Home Depot tomorrow morning for some "Caulk Saver" !.
