Default rally?

i have an nitro HPI rs4 3 18ss and i was wondering if there was anyway to create a rally setup. i know this is probably a repost but i thought id ask. from what i hear, i need higher ride height, suspension to handle the bumps involved in a dirt road, and the right tires. if anybody has any input as to what i should do, id appreciate it.
- thanks

you need some super nitro rally shocks to extend the ride heigh, you might has to grind a little plastic off the arms/hubs for higher ride height, and hpi sells some rally tires that at 26mm

the Super Rally's shocks will be too long. HPI had an electric RS4 Rally back in the day (mine is 8 years old now-woot!) and it had longer shocks than the ones you've got.

A771 is the PN for the aluminum body shock set I think.

best way to protect the drivetrain of your nitro RS4 is to not run it in gravel or dirt

well i have heard that you cna use the snr shocks, and you might have to do a small bit of work to it, and if your running in dirt, get a really good air filter with maybe one fo those extra foam outer sleeves for the added protection

and i would get these tires

and those shocks that thunderbird gave you the link to look a little too short, im not an expert on this though, i could be wrong, but my stock shocks from my RS4 18ss measure 55mm so a 50-60mm shock set seem a bit short

I can dig up my old RS4 Rally manual but it may take a few days, since A: I just moved, and B: I haven't actually seen it in a year or so, LOL.

those shocks came up under Tower's parts for the RS4 Rally. Maybe the current cars are using longer shocks, who knows.

Default RE: rally?

i think the shock setup is different for the rs4 rally so they may be able to use the same shocks in different setups to achieve multiple heights. i may just try and move mine around. as for protection i think i may try to use the inner body set with some sort of ventilation for cooling. a set of new tires an evo body, can anyone think of anything else ill need?
thanks for the help
