RE: WHOA, SWEET!
They DO have that Racer suspension setup now. It looks interesting...but I personally have no interest in it, considering what it costs. Now if they included the CVD's WITH the 17mm buggy hubs i'd be interested.

the_dog - I got that wing kit from New Era too. I had to hack the plates way down so it wouldnt block the roto-start access and the plate wasnt drilled for the wing mount itself. Ended up working fine but it wasnt a direct fit for me. Did you have any problems?

[link=http://www.neweramodels.com/item.cgi?part_id=2873]Link to Savage Wing Mount[/link]
This is the link to the wing mount. The listing doesnt say it will work with the X.
Works with: HPI Savage 21, 25, 4.6, and SS
Just make your own plate mount that works with your shock tower and buy a Mugen wing mount setup and wing.

SmoothInc - that is the same mount setup that New Era sells but on his mounting 'how-to' page he shows it mounted directly to the shock tower not using the plates that New Era includes. Gets the wing up nice and high but I wonder how strong it would be.
Here's the link to the Sick Hobbies wing mount how to: [link=http://www.sickhobbies.com/How2wing.html]Wing Mount[/link]
