RE: need help with 4.6 breaks
What I think he is talking about is the brake arm on the left side that sticks out past the chassis. If they are not dragging when you let off the brakes it should be fine. Turn your radio and receiver on. Push the truck by hand and apply the brakes. Then let them off and if it rolls free do not worry about it.

RE: need help with 4.6 breaks
that break arm is too loose but thats not the only problem[] u know that small yellow metal that wen the break arm is moved forward its suposed to push out and kinda stop it well thats too hard and gets pushed out and gets stuck. and those circular plates keep poping out everything is messed up on dat savage. I had a t-maxx for long time and its easy to fix, this 1 hurts my head lol.

Do you have 3 brake pads? Are the 2 screws turned in far enough? Something is missing or not tight enough.

Well if the holes are stripped and the little yellow thing is stuck, just get another tranny case less than $10. or post "Wanted tranny case cheap or free".

The brake can be tightened by tightening the brake pad screws on the tranny case and by twisting the brake adjustment knob on the brake linkaged by the throttle/brake servo. If this doesnt help, you have the replace the break pads (they are worn down to uselessness).
