Default My Friend Matt's Pipper Cub

It is a .40 size Great planes Piper Cub Kit that he recived for Christmas. The Engine is a Saito .72 4-stroke. The Radio is a 6 channel JR. This is his second aircraft and second covering job. the covering is coverite fabric. He has done an excellant job building and covering this airplane. Just thought i would thow it on the site and let you all see it.

I'm on my 3rd Cub. The first two were Goldberg. Current on is the larger GP. Had fun with all of them.

Do you guys fly with the CARDS? If so, maybe I'll see you in June or July, at their two flyins.

this is my friend robs page it's my cub but i couldn't put pics on my page per lack of internet at home were from around ann arbor/ypisalanity now i'm originally from ohio but rob is from lancing but we go to cards for the fly ins ins/imac and were planning on going this year so we'll see you there if you make it thanks for th good coments on my cub it's almost done just small details to go

just a stupid question why does your cub hav flaps? real one don't and do they help because cubs are floters

This Cub was my third kit. I modified the strip ailerons into "scale" ones. I had never had a model with flaps, and it was an easy conversion to add them, so I did. They added more fun to flying the model.

You can't tell from the picture, but i made the J3 into a Super Cub.

Super-Cubs have flaps, but J-3's don't.

it is a sato fa 72 with a zinger 14x6 prop i also have an apc 14x6 i'm gonna try i haven't flown it yet but on the run stand it should have more than enough power and i my mind i'd rather have more than enough than not enough

yes i flew it last week it flies great and sounds awsome you need to be on top of the redder on takeoff but other than that it's a great plane i just need to not be scared to fly it it's too pretty to mess up
