RE: Crash !!! No throttle response
Sky,
You seem to have a good working knowledge of the DF 40, would I be correct in saying that I have a bad 4 in 1 receiver, if , when I connect the battery, the main rotors engage, causing several red marks on the wrist and forearms? This is of course with the transmitter off.
The system worked fine one day, then the next day, the main rotors spun up. I think it startled me more than hurt me.
The heli has less than 30 minutes flying time, the people I purchased the heli from will not even respond to say they can't help me.
Maybe you or someone else out there can tell me if the DF40 would run on a different receiver.
Just so you know, I started this hobby on father's day of this year. Wanted something challenging, I am beginning to believe I should have purchased either another brand, or at least another model.
Thanks for any help you or anyone else can give me.

Hi Chopperone,
You have a Wakera 40 Dragonfly...you need to try this forum http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_405/tt.htm
there should to be able to help you.
This forum is for draganfly (with an A) it is a total different Heli..no 4 in 1 and no tail rotors...We can't really help you.
Good luck...Hope you get it fixed.

RE: Crash !!! No throttle response
Just spoke with Mike... The Draganfly had a cracked capacitor. He said everything seems to be working fine now. They are not sure why the DF flipped upside down and cannot reproduce the problem. I told him to ship it back to me an I will keep an eye out for any weird things during flight.
Thanks everyone for your help.
