Default Where to buy spark plug for the 58

My engine is actually a Evolution but from what I heard they are about the same.

On my very first flight my spark plug completely back out but luckily the wire and cap kept it held. The washer that was on it was lost. Where can I buy a new washer or whole spark plug with washer?

Also how tight can you turn the plug in? I did tighten but was afraid to strip the threads so only made snug. Also would it be okay to put lock tight around the threads on the plug to keep it from backing out again?

Tony,

You can get a new spark-plug from any MVVS dealer, but also from most suppliers of agricultural machines.

The original and recommended spark plug is a Brisk UR17, but any other equivalent plug should work.

It has a cone seal and an M14x1.25 thread. It can be tightened pretty strongly.

Tony,

I believe the top of that 'washer' is used to lock the spark-plug 'boot' onto the plug...
If you can find a suitable arrangement, it could work...

The conical seat spark plugs should be tightened 1/12th revolution with the washer part inserted, and 1/16th revolution without the washer part.
You can modify the supplied wrench using a 8" piece of 1/4" piano wire instead of the soft original torque bar.
The lower plug washer (cup) will not be readily available, but MVVS/evolution dealers should have them.
