Another 1/4 scale Cap question... :-)
Would the Futaba S3305 servo make a good aileron servo???

Yeah it's enough, especially if it's for lower throws. For 3D it's still enough, just keep the mechanical advantage up by using all the endpoint/ATV available on the tx (example: if 150 is the max, make it 140+). Horn height from hinge line should be greater than the servo arm length (1.25 and 1 inch for example).
