Default Batteries Question (ThunderPower)

I have the Thunder Power battery that came with the DF (black one without balance terminals) and a spare one (silver with balance terminals)

The black one has something under the velcro side. Do you know if it is the balanced charge terminal?

Thanks

If it looks looks or feels like a small card, I believe that is a voltage protection circuit that DFI has custom installed for their batteries. That's what I was told. I have 3 black Thunder Power packs without the balancer terminal and one silver one with it.

El, the black 1320mAh batteries we ship have a circuit board inside the heatshrink.

DFI told me that 3 cell packs aren't really necessary to balance.
