Default PROBLEMS WITH THE SAVAGE X CHASSIS

Well as you most know the savage x chassis SUCKS i just thought id share me experance my chassis got bent on probably on my 10th tank and i had bein meaning to replace it but since i wuz still able to use it i just sayed SCREW is and kept useing it LIL BY LIL is kept make makeing this werid noise so i took everything apart and BOY WAS THE CHASSIS BENT UP IN THE BACK not only than but it filted to the engine mount plate (it was bent big time) and ON TOP ON THAT THE ENGINE MOUNT WAS BENT ALSO!!! the engine was slanted to one side (almost like the revo) i put off fixing a small problem and now i have a bigger one LOL LIVE AND LEARN!!! the truck is still usable but i jsut left it in peices till i get new parts i have 2 questions

1) i want 1 inch longer chassis plates (pefecably LCG ones) and recomendations???
2) can i still use the roto start?? will it still reach if i extend the chassis???

Chronic will probably make some LCG and extended 1inch ones. PM him for some more info. He'll also be able to tell you if you can use the rotostart with them as he makes them to your specs.

Quit your crying and get a new chassis. It could have been worse.....you could have bought a Revo.

Man people like that piss me off....................i bet u anything now my post is goin to get deleted becuase of this moron u see all he wrote back??? he couldnt even answer my question on how old he is they should ban him......... all he does is go into the traxxas forum and piss people off like if his savage was a god or someting LOL

whats the deal with these chronic plates? i hear whispers of such things around here but have no clue if they are any good,
is it a guy aroun dher who makes them? are they super awsome? because, you know only the best for my baby

Alot of people on this forum have Chronic's TVP's. I will be getting a set at the end of the month. He makes them himself I think. PM him for more info. I know they are lower than the stock X plates and stronger.

Anyways i spoke to Chronic and he's a great guy and yea ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE HIS TVP"S but i want them longer than what he makes them and he tolled me he could do it but he's never done it before and wouldnt know if they would hold up well (VERY HONEST ON HIS PART) he recomended the FLM plates and im goin to get them i just emailed them with both my question i posted on this topic ill post there replay for everyone that is intersted also can also buy them and ill post pics of the damage to my SAVAGE X and pics of when she is up and running again only thing that has me spooked about the FLM"S is that the look HEAVEY i hope there not to heavy!!!!! any one in here have them???

My X chassis has been fine in 2 gallons. I am just starting to do bigged jumps and backflips so it might go soon...
