breakin in sh .28 pro spec
hey guys i.ve just stared breakin in my new sh .28 pro spec and man this thing has some power, it nearly wheelies at the factory needle settings and they are very rich. got thru my second 3 minute run of my heat cycle and my plug went and the only otha one i have is bad[:@], cant wait to get this thing run in and lean it out. iv just ordered a new rd logics dual rear exhaust for it too so i cant wait for that to come either.

upgrade your clutch is all i can say, and gear the HELL outta that thing, because trust me-those wheelies will get old QUICK.
I've got a P3 that's yet to be broken in, but my buddy's big-tire truggy wheelies with the same motor when it gets traction

yeah iv got an integy alluninium clutch in it at the moment, had some fun tryin to put the springs on, there was blood shed

iv got the other clutch bell somewhere that comes with the truck as a replacement i think it is a 18 tooth? if i get sick of the wheelies il put it on, but i like doing wheelis with it now iv got my hpi wheelie bar, i can ride em into 3rd gear

I'm running 17/49 gearing on both my SH.28 P3 & my SH.28 P6 pro-spec with extended TVP's. They still pull wheelstands

I was running 18/47 on my LRP .28 Spec 2 during break-in, but I just ordered a vented RR 3 shoe flywheel, aluminum Ofna shoes, 17t HPI vented flywheel, and a GH 49t steel/aluminum spur. I can't wait to get all of that in and try it out along with the new 3 speed.
BTW, what glow plug are you guys using the with SH/LRP .28? I think I'm running OS A3 right now, but I"m looking for something different. I'm thinking about the McCoy MC-59. Any thoughts?

i got some new glow plugs i picked up some os #8s and some A5s, this engine is crazy it is still really rich because im still breaking it in, iv only got it about 1/4 turn fromm stock to keep it from chocking so much, it takes of sluggish but as soon as it hits second gear up come the front wheels, i think il hav to put that otha 18 tooth clutch bell on or i wont be able to drive this thing, it has so much more power than the s-25.i think some dual disk brakes are in order to slow this baby down a bit because the standard brakes are just not good enough, BTW i have the p6 pro spec.
