RE: throttle linkage mod
The only problem I had with my stock linkage was it would not all ways open the carburetor all the way to give me full throttle. What part or where is it coming loose from.

You must have the wrong size screw in there. It's been a while, but I think I remember using a different screw when I switched to Hi-tech.

RE: throttle linkage mod
I agree you most not have the right screw or threads are stripped as I have a Hitec servo and do not have a problem. All so I am guessing you have a metal gear servo, as you do not want to use loctite unless you are screwing in to metal. Not sure Hitec even makes plastic gear servos as I only run metal.

RE: throttle linkage mod
The stock savage servo horn needs a self-tapping screw into plastic. The hiTec servo uses a machine thread screw into a metal threaded gear.
And so it was told.
