AWESOME!
Alright, I love this thing.
This evening I took my DF outside just before sundown with barely a breeze and I had a blast. The Ti worked wonderfully. A few times, after landing though I noticed the Ti would need to be reset because suddenly it would want to veer left or another direction very quickly, too much for trim to compensate for. Once I reset the Ti and set the level position again though, it worked wonderfully. Everyone at the park we were at was staring at it. I did have one close call though. They only sent me 4 nylon screws so until other 4 they sent arrive I have metal screws in two of the rotors. Well luckily, when I was only about 5 feet off the ground, one screw came out enough that the rotor came unattached at one point. The DF STILL landed perfectly. Only moments before that though I was over 40 feet up and that would have been disastrous. I am definately wanting a second battery for this thing now as well as some flight lights. I'm going to paint the front rotor and carbon bracing white sometime next week I believe to help me with orientation. I bought the Krylon Fusion paint for plastic. I do still try and keep the front pointed away from me when I fly but I'm capable of having it sideways for a few seconds at a time without going crazy. What a great machine.
