Types of Tires
Hi, I'm looking for 2.8 tires that will be good on hard packed dirt. I saw Rib Dawg tires, Which direction do you attach Rib Dawgs? Flat part on the inside or flat part on the outside?
There are also two different rear tires I am trying to decide between, - Step Pinns have good traction but appear quick to wear down.
- These H-square tires look harder to wear down but look like they have a little less traction.
I don't plan to use these tire for asphalt, only dirt.
Give me some opinions!

RE: Types of Tires
Hi,
2WD trucks need more traction than 4WD's, I will go for the step pins at rear end. Yes, step pins usually don't wear but the pins just crack at root area.
For the fronts, it looks like the ribs are the same but just in reverse direction. If one side is really flat, I think this is about turn in traction and exiting traction.
Regards

RE: Types of Tires
The "rib dawgs" are symetrical. The left side of the tire points to the right and the right side points to the left. There is no difference which way you mount them.
