DA 50 help....
I have a DA-50 with 2 gallons of ashless through it. I have noticed that when I run it to full throttle, back down, then back to full, it will die on me. I leaned out the low end and it just made it worse, so I went back to my last setting. This is happening on the ground, and I don't know if it happens in the air or not (I don't want to force the dead stick). any help on this would be great....

RE: DA 50 help....
Sounds like you need to richen the low end needle. If wide open is fine, then open low needle until you get good transition from low to wide open.
After adj. low needle you should probably recheck the high end needle again. It can change a little afte the low needle is changed.

RE: DA 50 help....
Thanks for the help! I just wanted to make sure you guys are getting this right. When I'm at idle then go to WOT (wide open throttle) it does fine. It is only when I am at WOT go down to idle then quickly back to WOT that it wants to quit. It was almost as if it was loading up, but what do I know This is my First Gas motor, and my first big plane....

Well there's only two scenerios that can be happening (if it's truely a low end needle tuning issue): It either dies suddenly (lean) or it takes a while to spin up while blowing smoke (rich). Which one do you think best fits how yours transitions?
I'd try to richening the low end an eith turn at a time to see if it helps. I think you only tried leaning which made it worse. Try richening.
