Which wheel on the wheelie bar?
Which Wheel did you put on your Savage wheelie bar from HPI. Small one or big one.... and why?
Photos are good too... I have to work up to how it looks... not sold on the look yet.
Thanks!!

RE: Which wheel on the wheelie bar?
Just installed the large wheel but yet have to try it. Did have the small wheel in place intially and it is far more discreet compared to the large wheel but, the drawback for me was that it did not quite fulfill its intended purpose as it waddled along from side to side instead of riding the wheelie.

i installed the large wheel because it made the wheelie lower and look like a drag car. i had problems too with waddling side to side even with the large wheel, but thats just the single wheel talking

Try this link, although not sure if it features the Hpi wheelie bar as I have not thoroughly viewed the link myself.

RE: Which wheel on the wheelie bar?
I've got the HPI wheelie bar and have the big wheel on it-it could be bigger. The little wheel seems pointless and shouldn't even be in the kit. Anyways, the truck still dumps over if I mash the gas and stay in it. If you don't want it to dump over you'll have to feather the throttle after the front wheels come up. The pic below shows a half block wheelie at about half throttle. Once the wheels come up, it's more or less a balancing act to keep the wheelie and forward motion going without the truck getting all stupid.
