BME 110 xtreme Weight
Hey Everyone,
I was wondering what the BME 110 xtreme weight ready to fly is? I am talking about mufflers, ignition, battery, stand offs. Thanks!
Adam

RE: BME 110 xtreme Weight
Well I am really looking for the lightest setup possible, so the lightest mufflers, the smallest recommended batt, etc.

RE: BME 110 xtreme Weight
A G-26 is a lot lighter that the BME. Unfortunately that lighter weight is not offset with enough power to get the job done. There is NO lighter engine in the 100 to 150cc class of engines that the 110. Most, if not all, 80cc engines are also heavier.
It's pretty hard to ask what the all up weight is with mufflers, ignition battery, and stand offs. Not all planes use the same products in the same sizes. better to weigh the base engine, ignition, and spark plug. Stand offs, batteries, and mufflers are user definable and have too many choices to give a fair weight baseline. No matter what you select in those areas, the 110 will still come out the winner in the weight department.
