Acetone will soften and remove it. Take you time it is not a quick process.

Sigman, I have not had a problem with color coming off with acetone. Best to do a test though just to be safe.

G'day Mate,
Use the Acetone, as described in above posts, but mix it with a bit of toothpaste, & rub gently, try it on a test piece first, to make sure it won't hurt the covering.

Try using a soldering iron and burn a hole right thru it.

PS. The acetone works.

RE: CA Removal On Ultracote ?
Short Story:
Started in 1974 with RC planes sport and Q-500. In 1978 to 1984 I raced Winston cup stock car series on the Island here at Freeport Raceway. Got Married and stop everything. Got back into RC planes in 1988 till now. I fly Q-500, Scale, 3D, Pattern, Sport and Fun fly events. Oh yea started playing Guitar and Keysboards at 12 and ended up playing with some bands over the years all the tri-state colleges and clubs at least the ones I can remember. Played with some big names at times like Rick Derringer, Leslie West. Twisted Sister etc.

Hi!
Nitro is much better than acetone and neither acetone nor nitro will hurt Oracover in any way.

Put the debonder on it, let it set a few minutes, start rubbing with a q-tip. Add a couple of drops more, continue, it will come off with no fading or discoloration of the covering. It disolves the ca without harm to the cover.
